Minwax Dark Walnut was the first stain color that I fell in love with when I first started woodworking. We don’t have any experience with Acacia sorry. It’s a very subdued, earthy brown tone with less golden highlights than some of the similar Minwax colors. Everything I read says go dark and no red or yellow tones. I like the satin finishes and am not opposed to one of the hard wax oils that you reviewed (Pullman, Rubio and Osmo).
